Her Grace

Her Grace

There once I remembered a smile of one,
Divine above the measures in her eyes,
Cosmic darkness flew through her long hair,
Time transcended without a word spoken,
When facing such magnificent beauty,
Can there be a word, expressing enough,
That could break my silence of impurity,
To spark quiet efforts to kill the moment,
Of soundless sound where souls meet,
A gift of mothers’ love lingered above,
Where angels and demons ceased therein,
Such a power you can only surrender to,
In her might, in her grace, I fell on my knees,
The roses are all alight and fresh for the moment,
I could only ask for what it is worth, a word,
Nothing could be of the worth of breaking,
The silence that has long stayed with her,
I would not speak of any words, no penance,
Nothing to ask for, all is given by her grace,
Just a smile, those divine eyes,
Enough as it is, as she rests before me,
Surrounded by the masters’ arts, complete,
Above the starry sky guides her divinity,
The future may have a destiny altered,
But for now, as a knight interred,
I close my eyes; I rest my soul surrendered.
