take a breath · read slowly

Towards an end, there lies a path
Where you and I go hanging out
Day or night, Sun or mist, no matter
Our hands were strong, for each other
On the brightest day, I could see your face
Even in rain, in loud thunderstorms
I could hear your whispers all along
It is the moment I hold dear to thee
Never spoken about my love
A secret buried deep within, longing
Every word and song I penned
I wove the story of ours in it
For every sunrise, there comes a sunset
Likewise, you vanished from my dreams
Forever left me in the abyss of misery
I could not close my eyes, no more
Without your reflections flashing upon
I am now a prisoner of my enraged fate
Why has my heart been left so late
