Transcendence

begin reading

take a breath · read slowly

When there is me, there is the mind of all full
Defined within the flesh, physically bound
Love is like the sand in the high wind
Dances like an unbound soul therein,
No more can it be withheld in my body
For it is a fragile glass of feelings, unwanted
When the wind calms, the sand must rest
When the mind calms, the love transcends
Beyond my body and mind goes all the way
Towards the evermore loving nature’s heart
Now now, there’s a whisper in my heart
Asking why I am still bound by the air
